AFS Flexiwear began as “A Fashion Statement” under parent company Lavender Corporation in Baba Yaga sim in early 2007 selling a variety of JH Designed clothing including pantsuits and non-flexi skirts. As Ms. Heyings production increased, A Fashion Statement expanded, eventually needing more room. This prompted a move to Slipp and the creation of Fashion Statement Mall which housed So Intimate Ladies Beachwear as well.
Again, the need for space grew and along with Gia’s Fashion Cabaret, which occupied space next to Fashion Statement Mall, a move to a Lavender Corporation owned sim was in order. Lavender Corporation purchased and named Lavender Isle and in the process moved all businesses falling under it’s umbrella to the new sim.
At this time, Jenny decided to concentrate soley on flexiwear (prim clothing) and A Fashion Statement followed suit changing it’s name to AFS Flexiwear.
AFS Flexiwear became a prominent tenant on Lavender Isle and gained a reputation throughout second life ™ featuring the exclusive works of designer Jenny Heying. Along with it’s fellow Lavender Corporation businesses, AFS Flexiwear was instrumental in the development of Lavender Isle and the support of Lavender Corporation’s cause. Today AFS Flexiwear is the central tenant in Place La Belle Aurore located on Ease.
